Our Organization

As a regional organization for sociologists, the North Central Sociological Association is committed to the development and support of our members over the course of their entire careers. We support undergraduate education through our nationally recognized teaching and learning sessions and workshops. We provide undergraduates opportunities to present on our student panels and network with experts in the field. Our commitment to graduate students and early career faculty is evidenced through our mentoring and career development certificate options. More experienced sociologists can expand their teaching and scholarship through advanced panels and workshops and they can extend their legacies through engagement with the next generation of scholars. There are also leadership opportunities and professional awards and recognitions open to all members. NCSA is an engaged, inviting, and supportive, home for all sociologists.
