Please use the link above to the new online membership form.  This form is an encrypted site and is very safe.  You can pay either or both membership and/or registration when on the site.  This is the only way that memberships and registrations will be taken. 

 

Once you have filled out your demographic information and what membership and dues are being paid you must click on the disclaimer at the bottom of the page.  This allows you to go to the check out section.  At this time you can pay either via credit card or check; you just need to select the credit card or check/cash option.  If you are paying via check please print the form and send it to Annulla Linders, Department of Sociology, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH  45221-0378.

 

Receipts – Once you have entered the system by completing the form you will receive a receipt in about 15 seconds.  CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS – you will receive an email receipt in about 15 seconds stating that you are now paid for the items you selected.  CHECK OPTION - If you have selected the ‘pay by check’ option at checkout your receipt will say you are in the system and that your dues have been mailed.  Once the NCSA Treasurer receives your check she will enter your check number and change your status from unpaid to paid. At this time you will receive another receipt confirming that your payment has been received and that you are now paid.  This receipt the your OFFICIAL receipt and is the only one you will be provided with.

 

Membership in NCSA and journal mailing deadlines:

If your membership in the NCSA provides you with a subscription to Sociological Focus, the association’s quarterly journal, and if payment for membership is made prior to December 31, you will receive print copies of all four issues of the journal for the subsequent calendar year. If payment is received after December 31, you will receive print copies only of the issues of the year’s volume that remain after your name is entered on our mailing list. You will in this case have free electronic access to the year's issues prior to your renewal or new membership.
