The NCSA Student Section exists as a resource to: facilitate student involvement in the NCSA, connect graduate and undergraduate students, provide an informal and welcoming environment for network building, and support one another in our sociological journeys.
Greetings! The student turnout for the NCSA/MSS conferences was a great success! There were many sessions oriented specifically towards students and students’ needs, including, “Publishing Tips for Students,” and “Surviving Graduate School.” Our continued success is dependent on you! Please submit ideas and suggestions for activities and sessions that you would like to see offered for students at the next conference. Ideas may be submitted to email@example.com or on the NCSA Student Forum Fan Page on FaceBook. Finally, the student committee is looking for four (4) students to serve on the committee for next year.
If you are interested, or know someone who is interested, please send a CV/resume with a brief letter describing why you want to serve on the committee to the address above by July 31. Looking forward to see you in Cleveland!
